|---|---|---|
| E-Mail an Freunde | informell, Kurzformen erlaubt, Fragen an den Leser | Thanks for your email. Write back soon. |
| Letter to the editor | formell, keine Kurzformen, Bezug auf einen Artikel | I am writing in response to … |
| Blog post, review | persönliche Stimme, klares Urteil | In my view … What really works is … |
| Essay, comment | These, Argumente, Gegenargument, Schluss | Admittedly … However … For these reasons … |
| Speech | Publikum ansprechen, rhetorische Fragen | Imagine … Ask yourselves … |
Beispiel: ein kommentierter Absatz
Aufgabe: Write a blog post (150–200 words) arguing that your school cafeteria should serve only vegetarian food on two days a week. Give two reasons and address one counter-argument. — Ein Mittelabsatz:
Admittedly, some students will miss their chicken nuggets on Mondays and Thursdays. However, two meat-free days are not a ban but a small change. The pasta bake and the lentil curry are already among the most popular dishes in our cafeteria, which shows that students do not need meat to enjoy their lunch. For these reasons, I believe the plan deserves a fair trial.

| Textstelle | Überlegung | Warum es Punkte bringt |
|---|---|---|
| Admittedly, some students …
| However, … not a ban but a small change | Gegenargument entkräftet | content: nicht nur genannt, sondern beantwortet |
| The pasta bake and the lentil curry …
| which shows that … | Beispiel an die These gebunden | organisation und language: Nebensatz statt zweier Hauptsätze |
| For these reasons, I believe …
The school starts too early, many students are tired. The school starts too early, so many students are tired.
So prüfst du deine Antwort
